Former England captain Michael Vaughan wasted no time taking a dig at India after the hosts were bowled out for a dismal 46 in the first Test against New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Vaughan, known for his sharp jibes, took to 'X' (formerly Twitter) to remind India of their previous collapse, writing, "Look on the bright side Indian fans... at least you have got past 36," in reference to the Adelaide debacle. His taunt reopened old wounds for Indian fans, who witnessed another batting disaster.
Despite wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant's defiant 20 and Yashasvi Jaiswal's 13, the rest of the lineup, including heavyweights like Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, fell for ducks, leaving India reeling under the pressure of the Kiwi pacers.
Vaughan's comment rubbed salt into India's fresh wound, amplifying the embarrassment of another historic low on home turf.
