Former American professional boxer Mike Tyson recently talked about how his pet tiger once attacked a woman who trespassed into his house in a podcast.

Tyson told this story on a 'Fat Joe Show' video posted on Instagram live.

Tyson used to have three pet tigers and had raised them since they were a cub. Tyson said that he had ordered them when he was in jail between 1992 and 1995.

The story goes like this that a woman jumped the fence of Tyson's house and started to play with one of his pet tigers. And as the tiger did not know the lady, an accident soon followed.

"Somebody jumped over my fence where my tiger was and started playing with the tiger. The tiger did not know the lady so there was a bad accident," Tyson said.

Tyson also informed that the woman tried to sue him but the case was dropped once it came to light that it was she who had trespassed into Tyson's house.

But once Tyson saw what the Tiger did to her, he gave her 250,000 dollars and said that he learned a lesson from that.

"I did not know what they could do to a person's flesh. I had no idea. You know what I learned? I was foolish. There is no way you are going to domesticate these cats 100%, " Tyson said.

He also said that tigers can kill you by mistake and he should have never had them in his house. He said, "They kill you by accident, they do not even mean to kill you. They do it by accident — too strong. Especially when you are playing rough with them, punching them, and they are getting hyped back, hit you back, then you are dead."

Tyson has since then replaced the tigers with a dog but said that he was very fond of the tigers.

"I loved them, I used to sleep with them. I am just happy I educated myself, I know it was late, but I was doing the wrong thing. I should not have had them in my house. I was wrong," Tyson added.
