Taskin gets highest salary in central contract, Mahmudullah withdraws his name

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the National Players' Contract for 2025, covering the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025. A total of 22 players have been awarded contracts under five salary grades.
Taskin Ahmed is the only player in the A+ category, earning BDT 10,00,000 per month. The A category (BDT 8,00,000 per month) includes Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Litton Kumer Das, and Mushfiqur Rahim.
The B category (BDT 6,00,000 per month) features Mominul Haque, Taijul Islam, Md Mahmud Ullah, Mustafizur Rahman, Tawhid Hridoy, Rishad Hossain, and Nahid Rana. However, Mahmud Ullah has requested to be excluded from the contract from March 2025 onwards.

In C category (BDT 4,00,000 per month), the selected players are Shadman Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Jaker Ali Anik, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Shak Mahedi Hasan.
Finally, the D category (BDT 2,00,000 per month) includes Nasum Ahmed and Syed Khaled Ahmed.
Mushfiqur Rahim has retired from ODI cricket as of March 5, 2025. Due to this, he will be moved from A category to B category starting from March.
