Tanvir's 13 wickets hand Emerging team innings win

It was a single-handed demolition job by left-arm off-spinner Tanvir Islam as the Bangladesh Emerging team defeated Ireland A by an innings and 23 runs.
After taking five wickets in the first innings, the 24-year-old took eight more in the second to finish the match with 13 wickets and become an easy pick for the man-of-the-match award.
The Irish had no answers to Tanvirs spin as he weaved his magic all over the visitors' batting and made sure they couldn't settle in.

The performance is sure to catch the attention of the national team selectors and keep Tanvir in contention for a place in the Test squad, which has been struggling in recent times.
After winning the toss and batting first, Ireland A scored a paltry 151 runs.
Apart from Tanvir's fifer, pacer Ebadot Hossain and captain Saif Hassan chipped in with two wickets each in this innings.
In reply, Bangladesh Emerging scored 313 runs with Yasir Ali top-scoring with 92 and this will make his case for a Test debut stronger after being part of the national Test squad but not getting a look in.
Captain Saif was also among the runs with 49 while opener Tanzid Hasan scored 41 and there were useful contributions from Mahmudul Hasan Joy (42) and Towhid Hridoy (36).
For Ireland, Mark Adair or Graham Hume took three wickets each as the visitors conceded a lead of 162 runs against the hosts.
In their second innings, the Irish were once again on the backfoot against Tanvir's spin and were bundled out for a paltry 139 runs.
Tanvir took those eight second-innings wickets conceding just 51 runs and this is his best bowling figures in List-A cricket.
Ebadot and Saif once again chipped in with wickets as they took one apiece.
After winning the only four-day match, the focus of the Emerging team shifts to the five one-dayers which starts from 5 March at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Two more games on 7 and 9 March will take place in the same venue before the cricketers come to Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium to have the final two games on 12 and 14 March.
The tour concludes with two T20s at the same venue on 17 and 18 March.
