Six host nations seal places at Fifa World Cup 2030
With four years remaining until the tournament, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay have all secured automatic qualification as hosts.
Six nations have already secured qualification for the 2030 Fifa World Cup after being confirmed as hosts of the tournament, despite it being four years away.
Morocco, Spain and Portugal, which will jointly host the majority of the expanded 48-team tournament, have qualified automatically.
Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay have also secured their places after Fifa awarded each nation one of the tournament's three centenary opening matches, marking the 100th anniversary of the inaugural Fifa World Cup, held in Uruguay in 1930.

The 2030 World Cup will be the first to be staged across three continents. While the bulk of the matches will be played in Morocco, Spain and Portugal, the tournament will begin with one match each in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay before moving to the three main host nations.
As hosts, the six nations are guaranteed places at the tournament, while the remaining teams will qualify through their respective continental competitions.
