Sarri leaves as Lampard return to the Bridge rumored
Chelsea have confirmed that their manager Maurizio Sarri will be leaving for Juventus and Frank Lampard is rumored to be the next one in charge.
It was inevitable, Maurizio Sarri leaving Stamford Bridge and returning home. Sarri leaving England means the managerial position is empty at Chelsea, and Frank Lampard is rumored to fill the void. Chelsea will receive five million pounds as compensation from the Old Lady.
With Sarri’s departure, there is nobody at the helm of Stamford Bridge. And the rumors say, that might be Frank Lampard, the dear boy of the Blues. Lampard, a club legend, played for the Blues for 13 years and now currently is the manager of Derby County. Derby missed out on promotion to the Premier League losing in the play-off final to Aston Villa, but they have impressed many under the former Chelsea captain. Chelsea would need to pay Derby an amount of four million pounds as compensation if they want to bring him as in-charge of the team.

Lampard, during his spell at Derby has tended to rely more on youngsters, whereas Chelsea is often demeaned for not providing the youngsters with adequate chances. Chelsea loanee Mason Mount fared brilliantly under Frank, with Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson also catching the spotlight.
The appointment of Frank Lampard would mean he would be the second Chelsea player to manage them, after Roberto De Matteo. And after Manchester United appointing Solskjaer as their manager, Chelsea would be the second to appoint one of their legends at their helm.
