Salahuddin embarrassed by coaches’ low wages

Domestic T20 tournaments usually see a lot of money being spent on players and coaching staff. At the auction, cricketers sometimes get paid more than they expect. Even in the players' draft, the remuneration of the cricketers is usually very high. 
The ongoing Bangabandhu T20 tournament is no different. Players in the tournament divided into different categories are being paid a huge amount of money. But the coaches apparently didn't have any say in their salary negotiations with the board and their wage has been fixed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Mohammad Salahuddin, the coach of Gazi Group Chattogram, vented his frustrations to the media saying that coaches' salaries are lower even than the Grade 'D' cricketers.
The experienced local coach reacted angrily to the coaches' remuneration set by BCB. He said he would not worry about his wage if the other coaches were paid rightly. The process and wage grade frustrated Salahuddin and he mentioned he would never suggest any local players step into coaching in the future. 
"I have always wanted ex-cricketers to take up coaching so that the current crop of players get benefited from them. But, now is probably the time to rethink," said a frustrated Salahuddin. 
The remuneration of the head coaches of the five teams has been fixed at Tk 3 lakh where the lowest grade 'D' grade players of the tournament are being paid Tk 4 lakh. Salahuddin mentioned they are being treated as Grade 'E' personnel which frustrates him even more. 
This isn't however the first time that coaches are underpaid in a domestic tournament in Bangladesh. Salahuddin believes this scenario should change for the betterment of Bangladesh Cricket.
