Rishad shines again with 3 wickets as Lahore defeat Karachi Kings

Rishad Hossain continued his fine form in the Pakistan Super League, following up his impressive performance against Quetta Gladiators with another brilliant display for Lahore Kalanders.

In his PSL debut match, the Bangladeshi leg-spinner claimed 3 wickets and played a pivotal role in Lahore's win. In the second match against Karachi Kings, Rishad outdid himself with a career-best performance.

In his second consecutive match, Rishad picked up 3 wickets, conceding just 26 runs in his 4 overs. He made an immediate impact, taking two wickets in his first two overs. In the 8th over, he dismissed Shan Masood for 18, with Billings taking a catch behind the stumps. Four balls later, Rishad struck again, sending Irfan Khan back to the pavilion, with Mitchell completing the catch. This over cost just 1 run, giving Rishad the perfect start.

Rishad claimed his third wicket in the 10th over, removing Abbas Afridi for just 3 runs, as Karachi were reduced to 50/7.

Rishad finished his spell with two more overs, conceding 11 and 12 runs respectively, completing an outstanding performance. In his first match, he had given away 31 runs in 4 overs.

Earlier, in Lahore's batting innings, Fakhar Zaman and Darryl Mitchell played vital roles, scoring 76 runs off 47 balls and 75 runs off 41 balls, respectively. Fakhar's knock included 6 fours and 5 sixes, while Mitchell's innings featured 9 fours and 2 sixes. Lahore managed to post a total of 201 runs, losing 6 wickets.
