In his PSL debut match, the Bangladeshi leg-spinner claimed 3 wickets and played a pivotal role in Lahore's win. In the second match against Karachi Kings, Rishad outdid himself with a career-best performance.

In the 8th over, he dismissed Shan Masood for 18, with Billings taking a catch behind the stumps.
