Power cut interrupts BPL match in absence of alternative arrangement

A sudden power cut disrupted a match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Friday night (10 February) as the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka has no alternative lighting systems.

The match held between Fortune Barishal vs Khulna Tigers was suspended for more than 15 minutes.

Although the power was restored after few minutes, the floodlights took time to lit on properly.
