Pakistan announce T20I squad ahead of Bangladesh series
Ahead of Bangladesh’s visit, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced their squad for the T20 series as Shoaib Malik has made a return to their side and Babar Azam, Pakistan’s most prolific batsman, has been named skipper.

After a long period of negotiations and a lot of ifs and buts, Bangladesh's tour of Pakistan has been confirmed. The tour will be played in three stages and the first stage, consisting of three T20s, will be played on January 24, 25 and 27 at Lahore.
Ahead of Bangladesh's visit, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced their squad for the T20 series as Shoaib Malik has made a return to their side and Babar Azam, Pakistan's most prolific batsman, has been named skipper.
The Pakistan squad sees three uncapped players in Ahsan Ali, Amad Butt and Haris Rauf being called up. Among the three, Rauf's inclusion was foreseen earlier as he has been cracking up the Big Bash League with his prolific pace.
The squad also sees two veterans in Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik recalled to the side along with another of their young pacemen Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Bangladesh are yet to announce their squad as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is currently occupied with the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 2019-20 and BCB is likely to announce the squad after the BPL ends.
