Mustafiz unsure whether he will play in IPL over Sri Lanka Tests
“I told him (Mustafiz) to send us a letter if he really wants to play. We won’t stop anyone. It’s not about Shakib only, it’s for everyone now,” the board president said to the media on Wednesday.
Mustafizur Rahman, who was picked up by Rajasthan Royals during the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction met Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon to decide whether he should play in that tournament or not.
Papon made it clear to him that the left-arm fast-bowler is free to take any decision he wants, especially after the board granted Shakib Al Hasan to play in the IPL instead of the Tests against Sri Lanka in April.

Mustafiz was snapped up by Rajasthan Royals for his base price of 1 crore rupees, but he is yet to decide whether he will skip the Sri Lanka Tests in favour of the cash-rich T20 franchise league in April.
The board president had a meeting with cricketers and coaching staff on Wednesday, ahead of the team's departure for their tour of New Zealand to discuss the new set of central contracts for the cricketers.
It is yet to be seen if ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be included in the centrally contracted players for the national Test team.
Bangladesh are set to play two Tests against Sri Lanka in mid-April, their final assignment in the World Test Championship, where Bangladesh have played five Tests and sit at the bottom of the table with zero points.
