Pacer Mustafizur Rahman is set to represent Mohammedan Sporting Club in their Super League matches of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL).
Mustafizur was seen training with other Mohammedan players at the National Cricket Academy in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Initially, Mustafizur had not registered for the DPL players' transfer and did not feature in the league phase of the ongoing tournament. The left-arm pacer had taken a PRP injection on 11th March after an old shoulder injury resurfaced. He had been on a break since playing in the Champions Trophy.
Sazzad also confirmed that a few more players have been added to the squad after some of their registered cricketers were named in the Test squad for the two-match Test series against Zimbabwe, starting in Sylhet on 20th April. Additionally, some players are dealing with injury issues.
The Super League matches are set to begin on 17th April. Mohammedan are currently in second place with 18 points, the same as table-toppers Abahani, who lead on net run rate.
