Messi’s bodyguard challenges Logan Paul to fight as drinks brand feud intensifies
As the legal battle continues in a New York court, Paul has repeatedly mocked Messi and even suggested a boxing match to settle the dispute. Chueko, a former Navy SEAL who shadows Messi at Inter Miami, has since stepped in, offering to fight Paul himself.

Lionel Messi's bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, has thrown down the gauntlet to Logan Paul, demanding the YouTuber and WWE star accept a boxing challenge as tensions rise over a legal dispute between their respective drinks brands.

Dispute over Mas+ and Prime turns personal
The row began when Messi launched his hydration brand, Mas+, in 2024, a move that angered Paul, who accused the footballer's company of copying his Prime drink. The dispute quickly escalated, with Messi filing a lawsuit to prove there was no infringement, while Paul responded with a countersuit, claiming Mas+ had violated Prime's trademark.

Chueko challenges Paul to fight
Posting a video on Instagram, Chueko made his position clear: "Listen Logan, I am doing this video because a lot of people stop me on the street. I get a lot of comments about this fight. Now, the reverse is broken, there is no way out. Let's do the fight for the people. Let's do it."
Paul, who had remained silent on the matter, finally responded in his latest YouTube blog. Initially, he mocked Chueko, commenting: "My brother thought he was cooking." But when Chueko fired back, questioning if Paul was backing out, the internet star upped the stakes.
Paul sets condition for fight
Accepting the challenge on one condition, Paul stated: "I've offered people to fly out before, but he doesn't even deserve a flight. I'm in Puerto Rico, if he wants to stop me in Puerto Rico, he's more than welcome. But when I beat him up, this is a big when, not an if, he'll have to drink Prime."
Paul didn't stop there, taking another dig at Messi: "I would really start to feel bad for Messi because, man, he's going to lose this lawsuit. He'll probably also lose his bodyguard, because why would you hire one if a YouTuber beats him? He's losing everything except the World Cup."
With tensions reaching boiling point, the question remains: will Chueko take the fight to Puerto Rico, or will this battle stay in the courtroom?
