Litton’s PSL mission ends early due to injury
Litton suffered a finger injury during a practice session and will return to Bangladesh today.

Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das' much-anticipated debut in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has come to an unfortunate end before he could even step onto the field for Karachi Kings. Litton suffered a finger injury during a practice session and will now return to Bangladesh.
Litton confirmed the injury on his official Facebook page, sharing his disappointment: "I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans. During a practice session, I picked up a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least two weeks." The injury occurred during Karachi's practice session on Thursday, and despite his excitement, Litton's PSL journey ended before it even began.
"I'm flying back to Bangladesh and seeking your prayers and love for a quick recovery. Wishing the very best of luck to my team, Karachi Kings," Litton added in his post.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had granted Litton, along with leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for the entire PSL season, which started on 11 April and runs until 18 May. Rishad, however, did not feature in Lahore Qalandars' eight-wicket defeat to defending champions Islamabad United in Rawalpindi on 11 April.
Australian wicketkeeper-batter Ben McDermott has been brought in as a replacement for Litton at Karachi Kings.
