BTV to broadcast Bangladesh-Zimbabwe Tests after media rights remain unsold
BTV confirmed the decision through a press release earlier today, stating it would air the matches live using the production satellite feed provided by the BCB.

Bangladesh Television (BTV) will broadcast the upcoming two-Test series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) failed to secure a media rights partner.
BTV confirmed the decision through a press release earlier today, stating it would air the matches live using the production satellite feed provided by the BCB.
The series is set to begin in Sylhet on 20 april, before moving to Chattogram for the second and final Test.
The arrangement comes after the BCB's attempt to sell the media rights drew no interest. Despite issuing an open call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) and financial proposals on 19 march, the board received no bids before the 7 april deadline.
With time running out and no takers for the rights, the BCB turned to the state-run broadcaster to ensure fans across the country can still watch the matches.
