BCB to build a new house for Ritu Porna
The design of the house and other necessary things have been finalized through an engineer and Ritu Porna's family has sent it to the BCB.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will build a new house for Bangladesh women's football team star Ritu Porna Chakma. The decision was taken at the BCB board of directors meeting on Saturday.
"The BCB has taken a decision to build a new house for football star Ritu Porna Chakma," BCB director and media committee chairman Iftikhar Rahman Mithu said after the meeting.
The design of the house and other necessary things have been finalized through an engineer and Ritu Porna's family has sent it to the BCB.

After winning the 2024 SAFF Championship, the footballer got a land from the local administration to build a house. The BCB will build Ritu Porna's house on that land.
Last month, the Bangladesh women's football team created a history by making an entry to the main stage of the Asian Cup as Ritu Porna led the side with her landmark performance.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the SAFF Championship in 2024 with Ritu Porna scored the winning goal. She won the award for the best footballer of the tournament.
