Barcelona are looking to swap Antoine Griezmann to bring back Neymar from PSG, according to French outlet L10Sport.

Barcelona tried to bring Neymar back to Catalonia in the recent summer transfer window but failed as they failed to reach a deal with the French champions. Neymar, himself, was very willing to come back to the club where he spent four seasons.

But the failed deal supposedly gave the idea that the transfer saga finally ended, but now it looks far from over.

Barcelona bought in French World Cup winner Griezmann from Atletico Madrid for a hefty fee of 120 million Euros. But the French star has failed to make an impact till now as he has managed to score only three goals in eight matches.

The rumours strengthened when Griezmann told in an interview that he and Lionel Messi were not really connecting. The Barcelona captain had been out for the most of the start of the season but returned recently.

Also, Griezmann has failed to show any proper connection with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi on the pitch in their very recent game against Inter Milan on contrary to Neymar's connection to the other two, which has often been tagged as telepathic.

In such circumstances, the Barcelona board are looking to bring back their once prodigal Brazilian, who has won PSG three matches with late winning goals this season after his return from injury.

Barcelona's last Champions League win came with Neymar performing brilliantly alongside Messi and Suarez in 2015. Since then, Barcelona have failed to reach the final of the prestigious competition, let alone win it.

Barcelona is desperate to win the Champions League this season, and thus have looked to bolster their ranks with bringing in the mercurial Brazilian.

Barcelona currently sit fourth in the La Liga table with 13 points from seven games.
