Bangladesh suffer 12-0 defeat to Iran in Futsal Asian Cup

Bangladesh Futsal National Team suffered a 12-0 goals defeat to strong Iran in their opening group G match of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers 2026 held at Stadium Tertutup Sukp in Kuantan, Malaysia on Saturday.
Futsal is played in two halves of 20 minutes each. In the first half, Bangladesh were trailed by 6-0 goals while they conceded six more goals in the second half. Bangladesh failed to score any goal in the first match of the International Futsal Tournament.
Bangladesh, which pitted in group G along with Iran, host Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will play their remaining group matches against Malaysia and the UAE on September 22 and 24 respectively.
