Arshdeep Singh, one of the standout players in India's T20 World Cup triumph last year, was named the ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year for 2024 on Saturday. The 25-year-old left-arm pacer claimed 36 wickets in 18 matches throughout the year, showcasing his exceptional bowling prowess.
Earlier on the same day, Arshdeep was also selected for the ICC T20I Team of the Year 2024, alongside renowned players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya, further highlighting his contributions to the team's success.
Currently, Arshdeep is part of the Indian squad for a five-match T20I series against England. In the opening ODI at Eden Gardens, he claimed two wickets, helping India secure a comfortable seven-wicket victory
