Voice of Bangladesh unveils 10 songs for Eurovision Asia

Bangladesh is set to introduce its music scene to a wider Asian audience as Voice of Bangladesh 2026 prepares to select the country's representative for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.

The Bangladeshi national selection will feature 10 entries, with the songs now released ahead of the final on 30 September. The competing acts are Pulak Adhikary with 'Anari Mahji', Sharot with 'Anushilon', Vintage Theory with 'BOOMERANG!', Lubaina Afnan with 'Dishehara', Nusrat Jahan (Kriti) with 'Desi Star', Benazir Zilani with 'Ghum Chokhe Raat', Subconscious with 'Janalachobi', Krishan Barman with 'Kachuri Ful', The Kushiyara Waves with 'Lover's Prayer' and Beatmosphere with 'Tumi Ele'.

The line-up brings together artists from different corners of Bangladesh's contemporary music landscape. Sharot has been active since 2007, while Vintage Theory draw from Dhaka's indie-rock scene. The Kushiyara Waves, formed in 2026, combine Bengali folk traditions with jazz and contemporary influences. Beatmosphere are an a cappella and beatbox collective originally formed in 2009, creating musical arrangements using only voices and body percussion.

Nusrat Jahan (Kriti), who studied music through graduation and master's level, was inspired by her singer father. Benazir Zilani, born and raised in Chittagong, achieved an early breakthrough with 'Shesh Kanna', which she wrote at 14 and which has surpassed 100 million streams. Lubaina Afnan brings experience in songwriting, composition and classical dance.

Voice of Bangladesh will take place on 30 September at 9pm local time, or 5pm CEST. The show will be broadcast by NTV.

The winner will represent Bangladesh at Eurovision Song Contest Asia, scheduled for 14 November in Bangkok, Thailand.Eleven countries and broadcasters have been confirmed for the inaugural competition.
