Twenty One Pilots bid farewell to 'Blurryface' with Breach

Ohio alt-pop duo Twenty One Pilots are closing the curtain on a decade-long narrative with their seventh studio album, Breach, set for release in September. The first single, 'The Contract,' drops on 12 June, hinting at a thematic culmination that ties together past characters 'Clancy' and 'Blurryface'.

Announced on social media with the caption, "Hello Clancy. Hello Blurryface. Let's finish this," the album promises to wrap the conceptual storyline developed across Blurryface (2015), Trench (2018), Scaled and Icy (2021), and Clancy (2024).
Currently composed of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, the band recently wrapped their 'Clancy' World Tour in the UK. One viral moment from the 11 May Manchester show saw a fan brazenly walk off with one of Dun's drums. The item was thankfully returned the next day, thanks to fan sleuths and the band's tour videographer.
Breach marks the end of an era, one that's been loud, cryptic, and unforgettable.
