Shakib Khan to star in this year’s Anandamela
The king of Dhallywood, Shakib Khan, will be breaking his long-standing absence from television programs with the Eid special, 'Anandamela', which is set to air on the night of Eid at 10 PM.
The megastar recently completed shooting for the program which took place at BTV's own set. It has been reported that Shakib Khan will appear in a story-based segment on Anandamela, and a dance performance to Toofan's track will follow afterwards.
Altogether, Shakib Khan's screen time in Anandamela will be around five minutes, according to one of the show's producers, Sahariar Mohammad Hasan.

"Thanks to Shakib Khan, this year's Anandamela has reached a new level. We hope his fans will be eager to watch the program," added Hasan.
Other performers in Anandamela include Sabina Yasmin, Anika Kabir Shokh, Samira Khan Mahi, Puja Cherry, and Dighi, among others.
The show will be hosted by Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Intekhab Dinar.
