Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco release joint album

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have dropped their highly anticipated joint album, I Said I Love You First, which features 14 tracks. The duo also unveiled a music video for their piano ballad, "Younger and Hotter Than Me," on 21 March.
The video opens with a melancholic Gomez lounging on a couch covered in linens. As she leaves the room with a bag of toiletries, the setting is revealed to be a staged soundstage.
In a bathroom, Gomez encounters a young girl in a princess costume while singing poignant lyrics about heartbreak and regret. Benny Blanco makes a brief appearance, sharing a meal with Gomez before leaving her to retreat back into the set.
Leading up to the album release, Spotify released a 33-minute teaser video of the couple discussing their writing process. In the video, Gomez shared that their songwriting sessions were casual conversations, not focused on creating specific tracks.
Blanco described his role in the process, stating he often captured Gomez's spontaneous thoughts on his phone, which later inspired much of the album's lyrics. The candid and personal nature of the collaboration gives fans an intimate look into the couple's creative journey.
