Ringo Starr announces new album 'Look Up'

Ringo Starr has announced his new country album, 'Look Up', set for release on 10 January.
The 11-track album, his first in the country genre in over 50 years, features collaborations with T Bone Burnett, Billy Swan, and Bruce Sugar. Starr, a lifelong country music fan, previously explored the genre with tracks like 'Act Naturally' and his 1970 album 'Beaucoups of Blues'. This also marks his first LP since 2019.
The lead single, 'Time On My Hands,' co-written with Burnett, Paul Kennerly, and Daniel Tashian, explores themes of heartache and resilience.
Starr expressed his excitement for the project, thanking the musicians involved. This announcement follows Starr's recent tour cut short due to illness, marking a significant return to music.
