Ozzy bows out with Black Sabbath at Villa Park
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, 76, took the stage for the last time on 5 July at Birmingham's Villa Park, reuniting with original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward in a historic farewell dubbed 'Back to the Beginning'
Supporting acts included Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Guns N' Roses, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and a surprise "supergroup" featuring Slash, Billy Corgan, Steven Tyler, Tom Morello, among others.
Ozzy told BBC, "It's my final encore; it's my chance to say thank you to my fans," and told The Guardian, "I'd love to say 'never say never,' but … it is time" . Despite Parkinson's and spinal surgeries, he's determined: "I'm not going up there in a fucking wheelchair".

Tickets ranged from £197.50 to £834, with all proceeds benefiting Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorns Children's Hospice . Organised by Tom Morello, the event was a 10‑hour celebration of heavy metal—marking both a homecoming and a final goodbye.
