MrBeast makes surprise cameo in Mariah Carey’s latest single

YouTube megastar MrBeast has made a surprise cameo appearance in Mariah Carey's latest music video for her new single 'Type Dangerous'. The video, directed by Joseph Kahn, features the pop icon embracing her signature glamour and sass — with a little danger thrown in.

Across seven cinematic acts, Carey faces off against a series of archetypal men, including Mr Player, Mr Danger, and Mr Traitor. The final act introduces MrBeast, who makes an unexpected appearance as "Mr Beast" himself, becoming the last in a long line of characters who fall under Carey's fierce, no-nonsense charm.

In the track, Carey sings boldly about her fearless attitude toward love, declaring, "I like 'em dangerous," while also making clear she won't tolerate time-wasters: "I don't have time for the rigamarole." Her entrance in a glittering gown sets the tone for a video filled with humour, attitude, and visual flair.

'Type Dangerous' music video arrives just a week after the single's release and hints at Carey's long-anticipated 16th album. This follows her recent celebration of The Emancipation of Mimi's 20th anniversary with a deluxe reissue.
