Miley Cyrus debuts More to Lose live before album drop

Miley Cyrus brought powerful emotions to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on 22 May with a heartfelt performance of her latest single, 'More to Lose.' Dressed in a dark hooded coat and backed by a live band and string ensemble, Cyrus gave a raw, cinematic rendition of the song, mirroring the melancholic visuals from its music video.
Describing the track as a "story" rather than a polished production, Cyrus previously explained her desire for authenticity: "I never wanted More to Lose to feel perfect — I wanted it to sound meaningful and emotional."
The performance comes just ahead of the 30 May release of 'Something Beautiful', Cyrus' highly anticipated ninth studio album. The record includes previously released tracks like 'End of the World,' 'Prelude,' and the title song, with collaborations from Naomi Campbell and Brittany Howard.
Cyrus will also debut a visual companion to the album—a self-directed "pop opera" film—at the Tribeca Film Festival on 6 June . The project reflects her continued journey of healing, sobriety, and self-acceptance, which she says has transformed her life.
