Jason Segel joins cast for 'Anxious People'
Jason Segel is joining Angelina Jolie and Aimee Lou Wood in the film adaptation of Fredrik Backman's novel, 'Anxious People'. Production on the film is currently underway in London.
Marc Forster, known for directing 'A Man Called Otto' and 'World War Z', is helming the project from a script written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter David Magee.
'Anxious People' follows a group of strangers at an open house who are unexpectedly taken hostage by a reluctant bank robber. The chaotic situation leads to oversharing, the revealing of secrets, and a whole lot of unexpected turns.

The film is a collaborative effort from Black Bear, Hope Studios, 2DUX2, and World Wide Word. Segel, a three-time Emmy nominee, is also known for co-writing and starring in the hit comedy series Shrinking.
