Jamie Foxx denies Diddy conspiracy rumours

Jamie Foxx has firmly dismissed rumours that music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved in his 2023 medical crisis. In a recent roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winning actor addressed the wild online speculation that followed his stroke last year.
"I'm in perfect shape," Foxx said. "People were saying 'Puffy tried to kill me.' No, Puffy didn't try to kill me." He recalled scrolling through social media while hospitalised and jokingly added, "They said I was a clone — that made me flip."
Foxx, 57, was heavily sedated at the time, receiving a mix of OxyContin, Dilantin, and morphine. He admitted to sneaking in a phone to keep up with online chatter and used humour as a coping mechanism. "I was doing so many jokes in the hospital," he said.
He previously laughed off the same rumours in his 2023 Netflix special, 'What Had Happened Was', joking, "I left those Diddy parties early."
Diddy's reps have called the claims "outlandish, ridiculous and baseless."
Meanwhile, Combs faces serious legal trouble with ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
