Conclave and Chalamet win big at SAG Awards

Papal thriller 'Conclave' took the top prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards as the winner of Best ensemble cast, while Timothée Chalamet scored a surprise win for Best Actor for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in 'A Complete Unknown'.
Chalamet, 29, edged out frontrunner Adrien Brody, who had dominated earlier awards for 'The Brutalist'. "I poured everything I had," Chalamet said. "I'm really in pursuit of greatness."
Demi Moore won Best Actress for 'The Substance', and Kieran Culkin ('A Real Pain') along with Zoe Saldana ('Emilia Perez') claimed supporting acting honours.
On the TV side, FX's 'Shogun' won Best Drama Ensemble, while 'Only Murders in the Building' took Best Comedy Ensemble.
Jane Fonda received a Lifetime Achievement Award. "Empathy is not weak or woke," she said, "and by the way, woke just means you give a damn about other people," shared the actress.
