BCS is just like a PUBG match!

Some elite gamers might think PUBG is a substandard game, but it sure has spearheaded the popularity of Battle Royale - a gaming genre. 

Instead of bashing on PUBG players, we shed some light on the (fictional) live action PUBG movie.

The idea of "Battle Royale" goes something like this: Multiple players explore a certain area and try to kill each other. The game continues until there is only one surviving player left.

While watching YouTube videos about "How to become a BCS cadre in 90 days", a light bulb in my mind almost burst. (It usually lights up, what went wrong this time?)

PUBG and BCS has a set of eerie similarities.

The Battle Royale has been foreshadowing the adventures of a BCS hopeful. I might be the first person to notice the Easter Eggs. Now, where is my Podok?

In PUBG, a handful of the players make landfall on an island. Here, the plane is an analogy to the universities of our country. Just like the plane plays no key role in the game, the same can be said about the universities (!).

The plane has given parachutes to the players, whereas universities handed a degree to the graduates. (Disclaimer: parachutes and degrees may fail to land you in the right place).  

As PUBG players land on the island, they have to scavenge for weapons and tools to survive the match. Scavenging is a sort of like a mirror image of the hunt for BCS shortcut guidebook at Nilkhet.

There are people who love PUBG, and people who don't. While 'hustlers' prepare for the BCS preliminary exam, jealous friends will always say, "Dost, BCS ekta jua khela, tor hobe na." (BCS is like a Blackjack match, you will most likely lose). The jealous ones are like Call of Duty players - always meddling between the PUBG community.  

As the PUBG battle comes to an end, only one player stands victorious. Every other player in the match is killed by each other. But thank heavens, BCS doesn't require bloodshed like this PG-16 game. The BCS dream only kills you internally. Not bad, huh? 

However, BCS jobs will employ some 2,000 people every year. That means BCS is not as cut throat as PUBG. If 500,000 people compete head-on for 2,000 "Chicken Dinners," who am I to judge?
