A graphic novel based on the cartoon strip Basic Ali is set for release in the next Boi Mela.

In a post on the strip's Facebook page, creator of the comic Sharier Khan announced, "Finally, I am ready to announce that Basic Ali Superhero Part 1 graphic novel will be ready for release in the next Boi Mela. I can guarantee that it will be utter nonsense!"

In the comment below, Sharier wrote, "Forgot to add: Basic Ali will be 'Advance Ali' in this book. Hence 'A' written on his uniform."

The popular cartoon strip Basic Ali has been running in The Business Standard (tbsnews.net) since January 2020. It first came out in Prothom Alo from November 2006 and ran up to April 2020.
