Zuckerberg vs Zuckerberg: Meta sued over account shutdowns
Mark S Zuckerberg's account was most recently shut down in May and was only restored after the lawsuit was filed

In a case of mistaken identity, a US lawyer named Mark S Zuckerberg has filed a lawsuit against Facebook's parent company, Meta, claiming the social media giant has repeatedly suspended his account and falsely accused him of "impersonating a celebrity".
The Indiana bankruptcy attorney said his account has been disabled five times over the past eight years, causing him to lose thousands of dollars in business, reports BBC.
The legal action pits the elder Zuckerberg — who has been practising law for 38 years — against the company of the younger Zuckerberg, now one of the world's richest men.
"It's not funny. Not when they take my money," the lawyer told WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana, arguing that Meta is in breach of contract for improperly removing $11,000 worth of his advertising.
He likened the situation to paying for a billboard and then having it covered with a blanket. The lawyer said he has submitted his photo ID, credit cards, and multiple facial images to prove his identity.
He highlighted the distinction in their names, stating, "I'm Mark Steven. And he's Mark Elliot."
Mark S Zuckerberg's account was most recently shut down in May and was only restored after the lawsuit was filed.
In a statement, Meta admitted the account was disabled in error and said it was "working to try and prevent this from happening in the future."
"We appreciate Mr Zuckerberg's continued patience on this issue and are working to try and prevent this from happening in the future," it said.
Mark S Zuckerberg, who specialises in bankruptcy law, started a website to track mix-ups over his name, including the time he was inadvertently sued by the state of Washington for abuse.
