A Bengal tiger has ended up in the bedroom of a house in Assam’s Kaziranga, where the flood has left many animals dead or displaced from the nearby national park.

Fortunate enough, the owner of the house was alerted when his neighbours started screaming after spotting the tiger entering his premises.

Wildlife Trust India uploaded an image on Twitter that shows the tiger lying down inside the bedroom on something that looks like a bed. He entered the room using a hole ripped into the wall, which is also visible in the image.
Multiple twitter user retweeted the image writing that the tiger was tired and hungry after struggling in the floods.
Forest officials said that they have attempted to tranquillize the tiger and take it to safety. They also said that 95% of the Kaziranga National Park has been flooded and thirty wild animals died this week. Animals were seen emerging out of the park to escape from drowning.
