A total of 19 Indian sailors who were stuck at the Chittagong amid flight suspension due to COVID-19 left here for home today by a chartered flight of local carrier Novoair.

The Novoair special flight carried 19 stranded Indian sailors from Dhaka to Kolkata, the airlines official said.

Earlier on June 10, the US-Bangla Airlines, country's another private carrier, repatriated 45 Indian sailors, who had been stranded here due to ongoing flight suspension, to New Delhi by operating a special chartered flight.
