The submission date of the probe report on the murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi has been extended for the 114th time till 18 November.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Mahbubul Haque issued the order because Investigation Officer Khondoker Md Shafiqul Alam, who is also an additional superintendent of police at RAB, did not submit the report today (15 October).

Earlier, the High Court removed the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from the investigation into the murder of the journalist couple.
