'Boli', a Bangladeshi film directed by Iqbal H Chowdhury recently made its way to screens in Canada. The movie premiered in Mississauga's Central Parkway Cinema.

Piplu Khan was also involved in the movie as its producer. The film is inspired by real life - a sport called 'Boli Khela' – a form of traditional wrestling from Chattogram.

In a previous conversation with TBS, Iqbal shared his experience with the film.

"As a filmmaker, I tried to create a 'world' as immersive, interesting or unique as possible," commented Iqbal.

The film has seen noteworthy achievements, winning awards from prestigious film festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival. However, the film is yet to be released in Bangladesh.
