BCCI has announced India's T20I squad for the upcoming Bangladesh series with loads of surprises. Notably, Varun Chakaravarthy and Mayank Yadav have been included in India's T20I squad.

Mayank Yadav earns maiden call-up as India names squad for Bangladesh T20I series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, starting on 6 October in Gwalior.

Pace sensation Mayank Yadav, who impressed during the last IPL season with Lucknow Super Giants, has been given his first national call-up.

"The Men's Selection Committee has picked India's 15-member squad for the upcoming IDFC FIRST Bank T20I series against Bangladesh. After the completion of the Test series, India will play three T20Is at Gwalior, New Delhi and Hyderabad," BCCI said in a statement.

The squad also sees the return of mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy and wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma. However, Sanju Samson is likely to be the first-choice wicketkeeper for the Suryakumar Yadav-led side.

The second and third T20Is will take place on 9 October in New Delhi and 12 October in Hyderabad.
