A covered van overturned near the BNS Center in Uttara's east zone, disrupting traffic in the area.
The accident occurred about half an hour ago, according to Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Ibrahim of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's traffic Uttara east zone.
"A rescue vehicle has been called immediately," he said, confirming that efforts are underway to clear the overturned van from the road.
