2.5 crore families getting subsidised food products

The commerce ministry on Monday said around 2.5 crore families in the country are receiving subsidised food products from the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB).
Assuring people, the ministry said it has enough storage of daily essentials, including food products, said a press release today.
It also warned of stringent actions against any unscrupulous attempt to create an artificial crisis in food items, saying that market surveillance has been strengthened.
