Ityadi stands by poor to fight coronavirus

Popular magazine programme Ityadi has come forward to help the people in hardship in the wake of a nationwide crisis caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

Hanif Sanket, who hosts the programme on Bangladesh Television under the banner of Fagun Audio Vision, united various people and organisations who were involved in the programme to stand beside the needy people.

Upholding the slogan "Sokoler Tore Sokole Amra" (we all are for each other), the programme led by Hanif Sanket distributed free foods to the poor in at least 10 districts of the country.

On April 1, the employees of Fagun Audio Vision along with Arif Nazmul and his volunteer group came forward to provide medical aid to the impoverished children who were earlier presented in Ityadi.

They also distributed foods among 200 poor people at 15 points of Dhaka in Mirpur-1, 2 and 10, Tolarbag, Technical, Shyamoli, Dhanmondi Lake, Elephant Road, Shahbagh, Hatirjheel, Begunbari slum, Badda, Rampura, Shahzadpur, Kuril and Kalshi.

On Thursday, Mamun Biswas, whose philanthropic activities through Facebook was brought to light by Ityadi, distributed foods among another 200 families in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj.

Moreover, Ityadi has been conducting awareness campaigns across the country since March 31.

The volunteer group of "Ora 11 Jon" led by Zahid Hossain conducted an awareness campaign and distributed relief among various families in seven unions from Charghat and Bagha upazilas in Rajshahi.
