Seema Hamid awarded honorary doctorate by World University of Leadership and Management

Seema Hamid, chairperson of Youth Bangla Global Foundation and a prominent philanthropist, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the World University of Leadership and Management in recognition of her contribution to social service, women's empowerment and other spheres of society.
Randi D Ward, the chancellor of the World University of Leadership and Management, presented the award to Seema Hamid at a ceremony organised by the university at a 5-star hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Saturday.
A total of four people were awarded doctorate degrees in the ceremony. Among them, the university has given honorary doctorate degrees to two people and professional degrees to two others for their contributions in various fields.

The university said Seema Hamid has been awarded this special honour for her special contribution to social development in various steps taken in social service, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship and leadership development, employment creation and environmental protection.
Dr Dragan Jovanov, vice-chancellor of the World University of Leadership and Management, Deans Dr Sofi Nubani and Dr Vedrana, and many academicians and guests were present at the degree conferment ceremony.
Seema Hamid has been awarded by various domestic and foreign renowned institutions for her special role in social service, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship and leadership development.
Earlier in 2022, she was awarded Global Youth Leadership Award at the Global Youth Leadership Summit-2022 held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
In the same year, she received the Durga Samman 2022 Award for social service and women's development from Arijit Official of India.
