Amari Dhaka announced the appointment of Shakil Jawad as Director, Sales and Marketing. 

Shakil started his career in 2005 from Hotel De Lake Castle as Manager, Sales and Marketing. 

Nearly 17 years of his career he was appointed in various different positions in Hotel Industry including Amari Dhaka as associate director, Sales and Marketing.

Shakil was also one of the members of the pre-opening team, where he was essential in growing consumers and business partnerships. 

In 2018 Shakil chose the opportunity of being general manager in Hotel Bengal Blueberry and worked there till 31 July 2022.

Shakil is a skilful person in the hotel industry with almost 17 years of experience. 

The pandemic era is one of the most challenging times for any hotelier. During this time, the majority of significant organisations were struggling to survive, yet Shakil Jawad persevered, and stuck with his team to overcome every challenge that ever arose.

Shakil Jawad said, "I am thrilled to re-join the enthusiastic and committed team at Amari Dhaka. Working with top-notch marketing, sales, and PR staff that specialises in each area will be exciting for me."

He said, "This family has given me the honour with their unwavering confidence, where I have actively participated in the growth of this outstanding property, tripling the numbers of our accommodation units and venues, and maintaining a parallel flow of business prospects with it. Not only will I respectfully designate these accomplishments as my professional milestones, but I will also proudly claim them."

A seasoned Sales and Marketing professional, Shakil will add value to Amari Dhaka with his business education and professional expertise.
