Police have cordoned off a suspected militant den in Dhaka's Ashulia area today.

Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Ashulia police station, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard, saying, "Police identified a female militant inside a house of Gokulnagar."

He said the counter-terrorism unit has been informed to carry out a drive there.

Abdul Mannan, an additional deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism unit, said, "An operation will be carried out once the unit arrived at the spot."
