Youth of Bangladesh to lead in country’s 4th Industrial Revolution
Educationists at MBA and MBM graduation ceremony of International Islamic University of Chittagong, urged new graduates to prepare for it
The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) is knocking at the door and the youth of Bangladesh should lead the country in that, educationists said at a programme in the port city of Chattogram.
"MBA (Masters of Business Administration) and MBM (Masters of Bank Management) graduates of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) will join this revolution with their competencies," they said at an MBA and MBM graduation ceremony (Summer 2021) of IIUC at Hotel Agrabad on Monday night.
Prof Abu Reza Md Nezamuddin Nadwi, chairman of IIUC's Board of Trustees, was chief guest at the programme.

Addressing the event, he promised to undertake widespread development programmes, including construction of new academic buildings and other infrastructure, and setting up a railway station at Kumira in Sitakunda upazila near the campus, to improve the quality of education.
IIUC Vice Chancellor Prof Md Anwarul Azim Arif said business administration can show how to turn human capital into assets. Countries that have established themselves as developed nations have done it by capitalizing on their people and turning them into valuable human resources.
"Education is the medium by which we can bring about that transformation," he added.
Addressing the new graduates, he said, "You have to have commitment and that day is now in front of you after graduation. You will have to be prepared to walk this new journey. You are the ambassadors of the university and will spread the university's reputation at home and abroad."
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Masrurul Mowla, Treasurer Dr Mohammed Humayun Kabir, Board of Trustees Member Rizia Sultana Chowdury, Finance committee Chairman Dr Engr Rashid Ahmed Chowdhury, and IIUC Registrar Mohammad Safiur Rahman, also spoke at the event.
Abdullah Hill Mamun, an associate professor at the university and coordinator of its MBA and MBM Programs, gave a welcome address at the function, with Mohammad Emdad Hossain, chairman of the Business Administration Department of IIUC, in the chair.
As student representatives, Nasrin Sultana Nishat and Jubail Karim Arman also spoke at the programme.
