BFF announces cash reward for booters

The football team can receive a cash prize of Tk34 lakh if they secure a final spot.

Bangladesh Football Federation announced a cash reward for the National football team playing the SA Games in Nepal.

BFF has announced that if the team make it to the final of the tournament, then they will receive a cash prize of Tk34 lakh.

The amount will increase if they win the gold. BFF general secretary Abu Nayem Shohagh confirmed the cash reward.

"It is to motivate the team. If they can make it to the final, they will receive the cash. If they win gold, a bigger reward will be announced later." said Shohag.

Bangladesh is set to face the hosts in a virtual semifinal match today, at 5pm.

Bangladesh won SA Games gold twice in 1999 and 2010.
