Husband commits suicide after killing wife in Satkhira

A man committed suicide after stabbing his wife to death in Satkhira's Shyamnagar upazila on Saturday night.
The couple were identified as Mannan Gazi, 50, and his wife Sona Bibi, 35.
Locals said the couple quarrelled over some issues in the evening, which led Mannan to hack his wife with sharp weapon at night. There were signs of wounds in different parts of her body.

Mannan's body was found hanging on a tree next to his house.
"Police recovered the bodies after being informed by the local people," said Yeasin Alam, officer-in-charge of Shyamnagar Police Station.
He said it was initially assumed that the incident took place due to disputes between Mannan and his wife.
