Star Jalsha to celebrate Runa Laila’s Birthday

Runa Laila – the widely popular and acclaimed singer of South Asia – celebrated her 67th birthday yesterday. The singer is not only known for her versatile singing talents, but also for taking Bangladesh to the international music audience through her works. Her fans, friends, and well-wishers from around the world also sent in their greetings on the day.

Various TV channels held especial programmes to honour the singer on the noted singer's birthday. Kolkata's popular TV channel Star Jalsha found the most interesting way to celebrate the day – they arranged for a cameo appearance for the singer.

A popular serial 'Ke Apon Ke Por', airing on Star Jalsha since 2016, planned a special episode for Runa Laila. Joba, the protagonist of the serial played by Pallavi Sharma meets Runa Laila in this special episode which was aired yesterday.
