Jaya Ahsan said, "This is my second Bangla Filmfare Award. I have received the award for my films Bijoya and Robibar. This award feels more special as I was able to receive it with my own hands. All of the people out here are happy about my winning especially the people of my fraternity."

"There was a time when only the big celebrities would have the beautiful Filmfare Awards in their hands or on their shelf. I really can not express what an honour it is for me to receive this award. I never could imagine receiving this award. It feels really great receiving such prestigious honour."

Jaya had previously won the Best Actress (Popular) award in 2018 for her extraordinary performance in "Bishorjon".
