The Government has decided to appoint Md Fazlul Bari as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Republic of Iraq.
His appointment was confirmed via a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
Ambassador designate Md Fazlul Bari is a secretary to the government of Bangladesh and a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Administration Cadre.

Bari obtained his Bachelors and Master's degree in Finance from the University of Dhaka. He also obtained Master of Arts degree in Government Financial Management from the University of Ulster, Belfast, UK.
